Family Therapy & Couples Counseling

Family Therapy

Family Therapy explores the patterns that develop in familial relationships and the way each member of a family system impacts the others. Family therapy may require the participation of one’s significant other, parent, or siblings. Through family therapy sessions, one can gain a greater understanding of themself by examining family dynamics and familial behavioral patterns that contribute one’s own mental framework and way of operating in the world.

Couples Therapy

Couples Counseling examines the ways in which romantic partners communicate addressing feelings of disconnection, recurring conflicts, roles in the relationship sexual issues, external stressors, and family dynamics. By searching for and understanding the root cause of relationship issues, couples can work to acknowledge each other’s feelings and communicate more effectively.
